MEET THE OWNER
Our Story
Founder James Mayfield started his business career in software consulting. His favorite contract was redoing the online reservation system and operational software for a hotel that had several properties in Salt Lake City and Boise.
James' consulting team took a look at the booking engine and back-office standards and were disappointed in what was available on the market. They decided to take a completely fresh and innovative approach to online booking software. The reservation system and booking engine that was produced doubled the client's revenues within the first year.
Seeing how well the reservation software worked for inns and hotels in his area, James decided to leave the consulting field and focus on reservation software.
In 2004, James formed ResNexus.
"We were one of the first cloud-based booking engines. Innovation that allowed our customers and their guests to connect with each other 24/7. All without making a single phone call. We changed everything about online reservations."
Since that time ResNexus has grown into an innovation leader in the field of reservation systems and property management software.
